He is one of the most prolific writers I have had the pleasure of encountering via Skype. Not sure when he sleeps but then, maybe days are longer in New Zealand. I do believe that there is not a genre that he has not touched (with the exception of pornography). Sci-fi, romance, horror, mystery, intrigue and even a little racy comedy are all there in abundance. I am sure there is something for everyone and you will see he has gone a step farther by putting some of his works into audio format.
So without further ado, meet Gary Weston.
A big thank you to Suzy for letting me loose on her blog.
Well. Another ebook escapes! Craggy: One Flight Too Far. Number 4 in the “Craggy” series. This one is a pre-release so it must be out on parole. These books are all about the characters. They could have easily been western, crime or anything else. But, sci fi they are.
Freighter Pilot Dixon “Craggy” Cragg, starts out as a freighter pilot between Mars and Moon. Poor chap is only eighty four and the brass want him to take early retirement. Destiny has other ideas for Craggy. Loads of action, drama, pathos (whatever that is) laughs and a few tears.

I never said as much in any of the stories, but I think Craggy has to be English. Too eccentric to be anything else. He is also in an audiobook, in Last Flight For Craggy, on a little site called distribly.com with a few other audiobooks of mine.

So! What else is new, Weston, I hear you say. It could well be a fluke, but odd things are going on at kobo.com with a couple of my ebooks. One Man's Dream hit the giddy heights of #49 in the romance category. I think it is romantic, rather than romance, but what would I know? I'm just a bloke. It is a nice story for the ladies, set in New Zealand. Ebook and audiobook.

Then, I finally get something into single figures and it isn't even a freebie! Dusty Miller 3 is #5 in the fiction-ghost category, #15 in horror.

And continuing the sci fi theme, One Way To Mars 3 is #18 in the sci fi category. The strange thing is, I never intended to write sci fi, ever. Must be the booze sending me into outer space.

Basically, all I've managed to do so far this year is write about fifteen novels, and several novellas and short stories and record ten audio books. Yeah, I know. I must be slowing down in my old age.
Bye for now, Gary Weston.
